Just the Beginning - 30 Years Ago

Congratulations and Happy 30th Anniversary to Just the Beginning - A Pipeline Organization! I have a fond memory of covering the inaugural gala on Sept. 19, 1992, as Chicago Bureau Chief of The National Law Journal and reporting on the historic gathering, thanks to the urging of the Hon. Ann Claire Williams (Ret.). The first gala was initially planned to honor only Judge James B. Parsons, then 81, who died less than a year later, but it quickly expanded into much more and has continued to thrive. My 1992 article here:
